Toyota Innova Crysta's BS4 more powerful model replaced to more powerful BS6 Engine


The Toyota Innova Crysta is one of the most popular MPVs in the country. However, now you

Toyota launched the BS6 model of Innova Crysta earlier this year. Then the company launched
it with only one diesel engine, while the other diesel engine with a higher power was not
upgraded. Now Toyota has made it clear that the large diesel engine of Innova Crysta will not
be upgraded to BS6.

The Toyota Innova Crysta was available in 2.4-liter and 2.8-liter diesel engines. The 2.8-liter

a version of Innova Crysta has only a 2.4-liter diesel engine. The company has clarified that the

How much power in which engine?
The BS6 Innova Crysta features a 2.4-liter diesel engine with 5-speed manual and 6-speed
automatic gearbox options, while in the BS4 version this engine only came with a 5-speed
manual gearbox. This engine generates the power of 148hp. At the same time, the 2.8-liter diesel
engine found in the BS4 model gave 174hp power. This engine came with an automatic
gearbox.

Substantial increase in price.
There was a substantial increase in the price of the BS6 Innova Crysta over the BS4 model.
The price of Innova Crysta with BS6 petrol engine was increased from 31 thousand to 63
thousand rupees, while the price of the BS6 diesel engine model was increased from 59 thousand
to 1.3 lakh rupees. The discontinuation of the 2.8-liter diesel model has also helped the
